Ramat HaSharon, Israel, April 19, 2017 – IMI Systems announced that for the first time it will attend the  Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference IMDEX Asia 2017

During the three days event to be held this year on May 16-18at the Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) in Singapore, Singapore, IMI will exhibit its Naval solutions designed to extend modern naval capabilities

With 80 years of experience in the development of artillery solutions and as a sole supplier of solutions to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), IMI Systems is positioned among the world’s leading companies in the development and manufacturing of fire-support systems in general and advanced artillery solutions in particular.

The reputable solutions array will be presented by IMI Systems as part of the Israeli Defense Export Division (SIBAT) in booth L21 and will include, inter alia the following:

  • TRIGON long-range highly cost-effective and low-risk autonomous ship-to-shore rocket launcher for day and night in every weather conditions, offering easy and rapid deployment for increased naval independence.
  • Accular 12 developed by IMI Systems based on its first of its kind Accular precision rocket and designed to assist forces in urban warfare and neutralize targets in ranges up to 35 km. The Accular 12 rocket is 122mm caliber and is equipped with a 20kg penetrating or incandescent warhead suitable for most combat descriptors used in the modern battlefield.
  • WAVE300 remotely l controlled naval weapon station fully stabilized and providing a complete solution for targeting and weapon handling from within a protected position with capabilities of acquiring targets, improving hit probability in marine environment 24/7 during day and night.
  • Spectral flares, exclusively developed by IMI Systems, designed to be dropped from helicopters which support naval forces against advanced anti-aircraft missiles. Able to cover a broad spectrum of threats the flares allow aircraft to penetrate threatened areas and complete their missions in accordance with operational requirements.
